Since 2008, the University of Isfahan, in cooperation with the Iranian Biology Society, has been publishing the quarterly Journal of Plant Biological Sciences (former name: Iranian Journal of Plant Biology). This journal is open- access, online and peer-reviewed, and publishes full articles in all fields of vascular and non-vascular plants and microscopic plants (algae), such as plant physiology, plant molecular biology, plant cell biology, plant genetics, plant systematics, plant anatomy and morphology, plant ecology, plant and microbe symbiosis.
